A 19 year old Chogyam Trungpa in tow Khenpo Gangshar began his journey…

Dear Readers,

I believe that if a disciple begins with having a Rinpoche point out for them the true nature of the mind there is no wrong way to practice the dharma for said disciple.

This is our heritage as dharma practitioners.

“You’re doing your best, so what can go wrong? Cheer up and have a good time.”

Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche

Everyone Khenpo Gangshar encountered got woke by his pointing out when Rinpoche put his life as a Tibetan monastic behind him, his disciple, a 19 year old Chogyam Trungpa in tow as he set off on his journey to spread the good word wide and far.

Until his good news ending up here.

What happened?

We liked it.

Something happened soon after that had nothing to do with what the 16th Karmapa came to America to do.

On September 10, 1976 Mao died.
