Picture of Yu Zhengsheng, a top leader of the Communist Party of China

Dear readers,

Salut mes amis !

I have the following to share with you from the people whom the Karma Kagyu sect collaborated with to make Ogyen Trinley Dorje the 17th Karmapa he is today.

“Yu Zhengsheng, one of the ruling Communist party’s seven most powerful officials, told locals to ‘firmly resist foreign influence on Tibetan Buddhism,’ in a visit to the Himalayan region, the official Xinhua news agency said.

‘We should guide and support representative Tibetan Buddhist figures to use the leading principles of the core socialist values to explain doctrine, and promote the adaption of Buddhism to socialist society,’ Yu added in comments at the Galden Jampaling Monastery yesterday.”

Either His Holiness must repudiate his sects collaboration with these people or step down as leader of the Karma Kagyu sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
