According to Nāgārjuna “there is not the slightest difference between cyclic existence and nirvana”

Dear readers,

Salut mes amis !

We can say without fear of contradiction that China’s safe short Karma Kagyu lineage of Ogyen Trinley Dorje, on this fundamental point of dharma, disagrees with Nāgārjuna.

“What is the nature of the Thus-Gone One
Is the nature of beings.
The Thus-Gone One is without nature,
And all beings are without nature.

There is not the slightest difference
Between cyclic existence and nirvana.
There is not the slightest difference
Between nirvana and cyclic existence.”

Nāgārjuna

Fundamental Verses XXII.16, XXV.19.

Translation from Karl Brunnhölzl

Voilà !

If you are a follower of China’s Short Karma Kagyu lineage of Ogyen Trinley Dorje, for reasons that have nothing to do with the dharma, the Fundamental verses of Nāgārjuna are outside the scope of your practice.

Courage !

Bill

Hmmm. I would consult Lama Karma or Lama Kathy before publishing this kind of dharma.

    • Dear readers,

It is lama Kathy and lama Karma that should be consulting with me given the circumstances.

It is their followers whom can’t get their minds around the lost long Karma Kagyu crazy wisdom lineage.

It is lama Kathy and lama Karma whom din’t have these teachings and I whom have them.

Why? Nagarjuna himself taught and debated publicly. And his writings have been openly published in English for quite some time already. How have you been led to think that your mind is so weak and fragile that you must consult with lama whoever before each instance of thinking?
