The Vajrayana approach to working with confused people and the situations required to relate to them

I submit for your consideration the following from Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche as it pertains to our discussion here of the practical differences between the Mahayana, not a path to liberation, and the Vajrayana, a path to liberation.

Unlike as with the mahayana with the Vajrayana Enlightenment is but the beginning of our journey.

Trungpa really was a wonderful communicator of dharma.

Going back to Lama Rod Owens, I’m really moved by his work and his style. He alone represents a modern embodiment of the spirit of the Kagyu lineage.

It’s really sad that the Tibetan dharma people don’t appreciate him. They seem so caught up in trying desperately to be something other than what they are: themselves.
