Being where I am from this just doesn’t feel right to me for the 17th Karmapa to take money from the Chinese to stage a million dollar spectacle like this…

  1. It’s true. No matter how optimistic about a positive outcome, it doesn’t look good. Making the dharma into a gawdy entertainment show. Leaves ya with a “no good can come from this” feeling. Highly questionable at best.
