  1. The problem of the case of the one incarnation of Jamgön Kongtrül was not that he disrobed, but that he was, as he wrote, mistreated by members of his Labrang. Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche would be the last to ciricize to give back the robes, as he did it himself. “Faut pas mélanger les torchons et les serviettes”!

    Can’t imagine this changes anything particularly certainly vis-a-vis the Karmapa controversy. If anything, it will endear him to the Diamondway folks – his main constituency – even more.
    It will have no bearing for Ogyen Trinley followers.
    Like any young couple, I wish them both as happy a marriage as I enjoy myself.
