The “Bhutanese named in Panama Papers” Ponlop Rinpoche’s brother, Ogyen Trinley Dorje’s Labrang

An example of the New Translation of Tibetan Buddhism in the West.

Ogyen Trinley Dorje is Chinese in all but name.

That we ever thought otherwise was wishful thinking on our part.

ok so what does it ll mean? if i may quote the disciple of mr natural? so they are crappy book keepers? or are they involved in something substantive such as money laundering? i find it hard to believe they knowingly laundered money. they have senior lawyers in sungapore. their lawyers have to understand the implications. or did they ditch them and do this through some other group? please enlighten us?

    • Ogyen Trinley Dorje is taking money from the very same people the 16th Karmapa fled in 1959.

Does not the Panama Papers proves this?

      I think so.

Should Ogyen Trinley Dorje take Chinese money.

I am of the opinion that he should not be taking money from these people.

I suspect the Indian Government would agree given they let him walk after charging him for fraud.

They gave him the benefit of the doubt.

He’s a “Dharma Guru” and so on.

      It was all a misunderstanding.

      So they thought.

They thought Tibetans didn’t have the skill set to manage their finances.

      Well somebody does.

Perhaps the people giving him the money in question.

And there is the matter of the law firm used.

It’s the same law firm used by members of the Chinese Communist Party.

      That Communist Party.

The very same people that the 16th Karmapa fled in 1959.

It’s the cover-up, not whether or not a crime was committed.

      • OTD should be careful when in bed with a giant, when the giant rolls over the smaller one never knows what might happen. Not that it matters anymore OTD has sold his soul, or should I say his mind.

        • If China had done as so many presumed in the 1980’s it had to do to survive the end of the Cold War the result of his recognition would have been otherwise.

          I was skeptical.

That being said I indulged Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche.

He saw in Ogyen Trinley Dorje the reincarnation of his guru.

For me questioning this was never an option with his being my guru.

I instead as is my process brought my doubts as such to my practice of guru devotion.

I let go of my doubts for the sake of my guru yoga as my guru yoga required of me at that point in my practice.

For me history to date has been unkind to Ogyen Trinley Dorje.

For a man of my age and life experience I look at his life to date as far from finished.

          Anything is possible.

          Things change.

Karmapa Thaye Dorje has flipped the script on my Karmapa.

          There is no denying this.

I know not what will become of Ogyen Trinley Dorje.

Most likely he will return to Tsurphu in the coming years.

He never would have condemned Traleg Rinpoche’s reincarnation to life in China he believed otherwise.

I see China and India coming to terms over their border sooner rather than later.

When this happens he will return to Tsurphu with the Black Crown.

The Black Crown is symbolic of China’s historic relationship with Tibet.

It all comes down to China and India coming to terms over what their relationship will be moving forward.

At that point Ogyen Trinley Dorje will become the Karmapa my guru so long ago sees in him.

Only time will tell, history, yet to be written by some future hand.

  2. None of this is real, and it has nothing to do with dharma.
    Have a nice day 😀
