Neither one. If you are inspired to kill yourself for your leader, or if you need a Hollywood leader, you are lost in the drama.
Have a nice day 😀
“Each human mind has its own burden of suffering, there is no happy time in samsara.” Gendun Chopel
True, and killing your body doesn’t end anything but an episode. It’s still confusion, suffering and illusory drama.
The “dharma” cannot be controlled, maimed, spindled, sold or otherwise mutilated. It is what it is, and all else isn’t.
“Confusion arises as wisdom when we realize everything we experience is the radiance of the mind’s own nature. Ringu Tulku Rinpoche
That while Tibetans suffer at the hands of the Chinese that Ogyen Trinley Dorje takes their money is disgusting to me personally.
To feel so is not outside my practice of the dharma.
I’m disgusted too. And I’m disgusted because these colorful shows presented to entertain and pacify are passed off as dharma.
“All phenomena are the illusory display of mind, empty yet unceasing, it manifests as anything whatsoever.” Rangjung Dorje
With the proper frame of mind, you can see a fly in a pile of dung as an emanation of primordial Buddha. Therefore, who needs some Hollywood production complete with prancing chickens to keep unhappy people pacified?
“Towards the countless sentient beings who suffer, may overwhelming compassion arise in our minds.” Rangjung Dorje
As long as non-reality is not realized, the smiley my be considered inappropriate.
