Hat tip Traleg Rinpoche.

“Buddhists do not talk about the oneness of everything.”

That was from a time when Tibetan Buddhism was about us.

Today for us it is all about what happened in Manchester.

Remember.

This is about us, as is our Buddhism, nothing is outside the scope of our practice.

We have good reason to be fearlesss.

All of which brings us back to the wisdom of Ogyen Trinley Dorje.

I’m with Traleg Rinpoche.

This interconnectedness meme is not a path to liberation.

Just saying.

  1. It’s more like, we’re only as strong as our weakest link. The point is not to be the weakest link even if the effort seems simpler and the rewards seem appealing. It’s like the suspension on your car, it all has to be distributed evenly to really be efficient, to be most effective. If you’re the one throwing of the balance, the other wheels can only compensate for so long and, eventually, your car goes careening.
